Posted on: 2007-09-07 16:10:59 This paper was presented at SCM House, Bangalore on 17th March 2007 in connection with 5th anniversary celebration of St Peter’s SCM Unit. It was presented by Jessie Shiri, the Hony. Senior Secretary, SCM, Karnataka Region and presently working at the United Theological College, Bangalore.
Student Christian Movement of India also has an extensive library related to ecumenical writings and social issues.
It is well stocked with various books under different themes of Philosophy and Religion, Church and Religion, and many other secular and issue based books.
It is also equipped with a wide variety of national and international journals, mainly focussing on social issues and ecumenism. Daily Newspapers in English, Tamil and Kannada is also available in the Library.
Issue based documentaries are also available at the Library.
Old documents, especially of Student Christian Movement of India, journals and newletters published, resource materials can be found in the Archive section of the SCMI Library.
