SCMI LAUNCHES HISTORY PROJECT

I am very happy to inform you that we are in the process of writing the history of SCMI. We are planning to bring out the History book by December 2009, which will culminate to the Centenary celebration (1912-2012) of SCMI.

I am happy to introduce Rev. Dr. Rajan Chacko Thomas, a senior friend from Kerala, has offered to help us in the process of writing the History of SCMI. Rev. R. C. Thomas has completed his MTh, in Religion and Culture at FFRRC after his BD from Senate of Serampore. He is also acquainted with other foreign languages such as German, Greek and Hebrew. He holds a doctorate from the University of Bochem, and Dr. Karnad Raises, the former General Secretary of WCC was his guide. His past experience as a Parish Priest, Director of TMA Orientation Research Centre, Editor and Manager of Vedapadanasahai and also a Professor of Systematic Theology and Research guide has equipped him amply for this new assignment. 

He will be travelling and meeting the senior friends all over India to gather facts about SCMI as part of his assignment. I kindly request to extent your full support and encourage him in his endeavour.
